This historic home was built in 1912 and is located in the Historic District of Arabi in St. Bernard Parish. It is a well-built strong craftsman that is solid and safe. There are old garages in the rear. One side is for the landlord, the other is occupied by the other tenant. In between the garages is a room with a shared washer and dryer and another optional secure storage area for the currently available unit, large enough for bikes, boxes, etc. This is a very quiet neighbor with no issues. Arabi has great schools, friendly neighbors and is only 3 short blocks to the Mississippi river. Most of the neighbors are homeowners.

The home borders Jackson Barracks and the street is paroled by MPs 24/7 which adds an extra layer of security and peace of mind. There is a Sheriffs station at the end of the block, and Consecos grocery is within walking distance. There is a bus directly to the city as well. The French Quarter is only 4.5 miles away.
