This is a room for rent in the upstairs half (i.e. ground floor) of my family's home. Single-occupancy, no druggies or smoking (I live here and am VIOLENTLY allergic), etc.
All utilities except T.V. are included in the rent, for simplicity's sake. The room is across the hall from the bathroom that everyone uses, and has a mini fridge. You are free to use the common areas, so long as you treat them well, and provide your own consumables.
The idea is to provide a low-cost place to stay for someone who got kicked in the teeth by life, and just needs that little bit if kindness to get back on thier feet. To that end the "deposit" is actually just the last month's rent (you pay for anything you damage separately), so that when you ARE ready to move out you can do so worry-free!
But life doesn't work in discreet 6-month blocks, so if you need to move to month-by-month after the term ends, that can be accomodated.
Oh, and no pets, mainly because people have allergies to stuff.
