Welcome to Rosewood! We are a 14-bedroom co-living community in North Berkeley. Our members are graduate students and working professionals in the fields of medicine, science, education, and everything in between. We are hikers, rock climbers, meditators, musicians, writers, dancers, birdwatchers, and amateur chefs. Together, we enjoy playing table top games, watching movies, exploring the Berkeley hills, hiking in Tilden, and soaking up sunshine on the porch. Laughter and silliness are central to our home.

Unlike a more traditional co-op, Rosewood allows its members to choose how much time to invest in the community. We don’t have a shared food program, but we often gather around the table with our separate meals. We have very few assigned chores; rather, residents are expected to respect the space and clean up after themselves. Some of us spend weekends and evenings socializing with the community, while others live more independent lives. We find that this flexibility works well for our busy lives.

Our home is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood at the base of the North Berkeley hills. We are within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, parks, libraries, BART, and the UC Berkeley campus.
