Viewing instructions: Once you have lockbox code, drive slowly northbound as you approach the home as it sits on the international border with Canada. The U.S. border station is on your left. You don't have to check in with them prior to viewing the home. DRIVE SLOWLY AS YOU GO DOWN THE HILL. Pull into the driveway on the left BEFORE DRIVING PAST THE RED BRICK BUILDING. If you drive past the red brick building, you entered Canada and must go check in with Canada customs a bit down the road. Tell Canada customs officials that you accidentally entered Canada and are just viewing the apartment in the red brick building on the U.S. side. Park in the designated spot labeled with a sign stating "NO Parking - This space Reserved - Towing Enforced 24 hours/day." This is a sign to make sure the spot is a 15 minute parking space only for you. To the right of the parking spot, you will see two doors on the red brick building. The lockbox hanging from the door to Apt. 2 will work with your lockbox code. When you leave the building, driving up the hill, you must check in with U.S. Customs and Border Protection on the right. You tell them that you came from down the hill and did not leave the U.S. Generally, they won't ask for ID or a passport because you didn't leave the U.S. If they ask for identification or anything else, you should always cooperate with them.
There is a brief application online. Every person 18 and older living at the home must complete an application. Price to move-in is first month's rent, maintenance fee of $695, leasing fee of $600 and portal activation of $50. Depending on the contents of the application, we may have to collect an additional service and property tax fee $100 more than one month’s rent. The pet fees are $20/month per pet rent and $150 one-time per pet fee. Some ownership groups have added a COVID-19/government regulation fee of $50/month.
