If proof of coverage is not provided, a $10.50 monthly charge will be added for landlord liability protection. This requirement does not apply if the unit is subsidized with public funds or if the total household income for all tenants is 50% or less of the area median income, adjusted for family size (up to a family of five), as allowed under Oregon Law.
