You will get a private bedroom, private bathroom, shared space, designated covered parking, a beautiful patio for $1300/mo. I'm a fun, clean roommate who enjoys cooking, playing music, watching a great movie or show, learning a new craft, reading, writing... I'm open to it all! I love hanging out in a shared space, but definitely appreciate time spent alone. I'm super respectful and considerate of roommates' needs, but we can't read each other's minds! I think the most important thing in a good roommate relationship is communication.
I work for an LGBTQ philanthropy organization, and will only take on a roommate who is LGBTQ friendly and respectful of all people. (I've been working from home since the pandemic, and likely will keep working from home at least a few days a week even when things start to get back to normal.) In my free time, I make comedy videos with friends and write a weekly science newsletter. I also am an amateur woodworker, I do yoga almost every day, and I love watching comedy, cooking and travel shows, and some anime. I'll never say no to any Mario or Zelda game, and I'm 420 friendly (within reason - no bongs on the coffee table please!)
I hope to find a roommate who is considerate of our shared space, who's open to cooking and sharing meals together but also content to spend time alone, has similar values and beliefs about the world, and who is vaccinated but also recognizes that that isn't a silver bullet. I hope you have a good, secure job and fun friends who come over every so often but also know when to leave. I hope you like good music and good TV and share the things you like with me!
