Riverfront Boise vacation home in Boise Bench, near Boise State University. You'll love this cozy hide-away close to the Boise Airport (1.9 mi), Boise State University (1.6 mi) and the Boise River Greenbelt (2.4 mi).
The Cottage on Dorian began its life in Boise over 60 years ago as a garage/workshop. Since then, it's been lovingly converted into a comfy 1 bedroom cottage. We are only the second owners of this home and have tried to fill it with all the comforts we enjoy when traveling.
Inside the cottage, you'll find an inviting living room, a comfy queen bed with luxury linens, fast Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and an updated galley kitchen with open shelving, granite countertops, and original angled mid-century cabinets. We also have a well-stocked library thanks to our "bring a book/take a book" trades with guests.
The one thing you won't find here is a giant spa-like shower. (We just thought we'd tell you that in case having a huge shower is important to you. The beautifully tiled shower is "right-sized" for the house--meaning, it's a small house, so it's a small shower.)
Arriving late? No problem. Your first night’s meal is on us. You’ll find pasta, olive oil, pasta sauce, cooking spices, and an assortment of snacks.
There is a grocery store (Albertsons) less than a mile from the cottage as well as a number of great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.
Whether you’re coming for a short trip or a longer stay, we hope you'll make The Cottage on Dorian your home away from home while you're in Boise.
