Vacation Rental. This vacation home is exactly what you'll need to wind down and take your mind off the stressors of everyday life. Enjoy the uncrowded beaches and walk for miles combing the beach for sea glass and shells. Whether planning a family vacation or a couple’s getaway, the Sandbox is the place to stay!
On the first floor, you will find the main living area with cozy fireplace, large gourmet kitchen that is fully stocked and perfect for entertaining! There is also the family room with a comfy couch and chairs, 54’' television, cable tv and a plentiful collection of DVD’s and books. Unwind and relax on the beautiful open deck with stairs that lead you right out on to the sand. Completing the first floor is a half bathroom and a private den room with 65'' television and sleeper sofa for 2.
Upstairs you will find three spacious bedrooms each with an attached full bathroom. Additionally, there is a large landing area with another sleeper sofa for 2 that brings the homes total occupancy to 10. Large balcony with gorgeous unobstructed views of the ocean can also be found upstairs and easily accessed from both the master bedroom and the landing area.
Take a stroll around the Channel Island Harbor’s farmers market which takes place every Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm. The market is a very short walk from the home and you will find organic in-season vegetables, homemade tamales, shaved ice, music and so much more!
Not to be missed is the very large community Oxnard Beach Park which features a wonderful pirate themed playground structure for the kids and is just a short drive from the home. This huge play center is sure to keep the kids begging to go back daily!
The two car garage houses beach toys and boogie boards, all available for guest use. A full-sized washer and dryer is also available in the garage to keep all your beach towels fresh for the next day’s fun!
Location: Conveniently located near Ventura, Santa Barbara and Ojai, off the 101 freeway. We are 55 miles north of LA, about 45 minutes south of Santa Barbara, just 20 minutes from downtown Ventura and 10 minutes from all the great shopping at The Collection in Oxnard. Visit Oxnard or Ventura for a wide selection of dining – you won't be disappointed with the great variety of restaurants.
