Located in a historic home in Vallejo’s Historic Heritage district, the Garden Suite is a private studio apartment that’s perfect for travel nurses, refinery workers, business travelers, or folks looking for a place to land while they relocate to the Bay Area. Only 10 minutes from Kaiser and Sutter hospitals. This furnished rental is offered on a month to month basis- longer leases considered on an individual basis.
The Garden Suite is a 500 square foot private in-law suite attached to the main house, with your own entrance and laundry. The bedroom/living space is almost 300 square feet and overlooks the garden, with a skylight and French doors that open onto a new redwood deck. Up a short flight of stairs, you’ll find the bathroom and a kitchen with a mini fridge, microwave, two burner induction stove, coffee maker, and tea kettle. The unit is currently furnished, and can be rented either furnished or unfurnished.
The Garden Suite is located in downtown Vallejo, your gateway to Napa and San Francisco. Enjoy fresh produce from the Farmers Market every Saturday morning, dine at a Michelin restaurant, check out local artisanal shops such as Anchor Pantry, or explore the Vallejo Arts scene at Art Walk every second Friday and open studios every Second Saturday. Vallejo is a great base camp for day trips to wine country, the Santa Cruz boardwalk, John Muir Redwoods, San Francisco Giants and Oakland As stadiums, and more. The house is within walking distance of downtown, including the farmer’s market, bus terminal, and ferry to San Francisco. We are a 10 minute drive to both Kaiser and Sutter hospitals.
The cost for utilities is $200/month, which covers internet/wifi, electricity, water, and garbage. Maximum occupancy is 2 people. We may be able to accommodate 1 cat. No smoking or vaping allowed in the house or on the premises.
The main house currently has 1 adult, 1 child, and 2 cats. We are committed to creating an inclusive, queer-friendly house and are all committed to racial justice. All ages of folks are welcome. We are open to folks who would like to share family dinners and other communal activities.
Access: There are 22 stairs from the street to the house. There are 11 stairs from the bedroom in the suite to the bathroom and kitchenette.
