Evaluation Process: Screening includes verification of identity, credit history, public records, background check, employment/income verification, and rental references via third-party screening services and direct contacts.
Written Screening Criteria & Standards:
Credit: Minimum credit score of 650 required.
Income: Verifiable income required.
Rental History: Solid rental history with no prior evictions and strong landlord references required.
Applicant Rights & Disclosures (ORS 90.295):
Right to Dispute & Appeal: Applicants have the right to dispute the accuracy of any information provided to the landlord by a consumer reporting or tenant screening agency. If an application is denied or adverse action is taken based on screening results, the applicant has the right to appeal the determination and submit additional explanatory evidence for an individualized assessment.
