Anderson Lane, the northern border, features the Village Shopping Center and the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Village. Head to Downtown Austin, just six miles south, for more entertainment and nightlife options. If you prefer mass transit, Allandale offers several bus stops in the neighborhood, including a MetroRapid bus with a station along Burnet.
