- Beautiful 1918 bungalow with re-done exterior and interior, including the kitchen
- 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
- Large backyard with deck and spot for a fire pit
- Detached garage space and parking spaces
🛼 About the roommates:
My name is Amy (she/her), and I am the owner of this home. I work fully remote as a UX designer for a smart home company, and am a graduate from WWU. In my free time I love to crochet, sew, roller skate, find good sunset spots in bham, and eat yummy food (definitely a bread person). I am sober and really value wellness and mindfulness. I have a 13 year old cat who is an ESA, and she likes to spend her time sleeping or snuggling with me. 🐈 ⬛ ❤️
My name is Erika (she/they), I’m 25 and just graduated from Waldorf Teacher Training. I will be working at Whatcom Hills Waldorf School in the kindergarten. I love being outside exploring and spend most of my free time playing in the water, hiking, skiing, roller skating, needle felting, or doing any number of fun things. I have two very well behaved indoor, litter trained bunnies, Shoe and Alma. They are an adorable pair of fixed Holland Lop’s who are just a delight to be around. 🐇🐇💛
🌞 What we’re looking for in a roommate:
- Someone who is laid-back, clean, and values open communication
- Willing to contribute to keeping the house a peaceful, clean, and beautiful space to live in
- LGBTQ+ friendly
- Cares about people, animals, and the environment
- Someone friendly and down to hang with the roomies, but also understands busy lives and schedules and need for alone time
- Values a mostly sober environment and isn’t a heavy smoker or drinker
- No additional pets (we love animals, but cannot have anymore in the house, sorry!)
🖼 About the available room:
- The larger room facing the backyard is the room available for rent
- It gets AMAZING light especially in the evening, with a nice view of the sunset
- Room is $1100/month, utilities will be split equally 3 ways between the 3 roomies
- There is a full bath room upstairs that will be shared with Erika upstairs
