Hello! I purchased this home in 2019 after major interior renovations were completed, aka, all brand new appliances and one of the most aesthetically pleasing kitchens you've ever seen! ;) Over the past few years, I have loved taking on exterior projects, and have since built a privacy fence, sheds, raised garden beds, and a fire pit! I rent out two LARGE upstairs rooms and the basement suite. My home is very conveniently located near Seven Corners, quietly tucked away right off of route 50, and within 600 yards of a public bus stop. I’m biking distance to the nearest metro stop, several grocery stores, and multiple gyms.
Since 2020, I have been beyond fortunate to share my home with 3 wonderful men and one even greater dog! Essentially strangers at first, we've grown into good friends and our very own "Crane Crew" befriending each other's friends and significant others. We're mindful of each other's privacy and distinct work schedules, as well as enjoying time together watching the latest TV series and hosting the occasional party.
With one of our "crew" members moving out of the area, the upstairs master room has become available:
Upstairs Room A: $1165 + 1/4 Utilities
- Very large bedroom (23.5' x 13.5')
- Large walk-in(ish) closet (6' x 3.5'), with organization system
- Shared full bathroom with private sink (will share bathroom with a 26 yr old, male)
- Shared hall closet
- Upstairs has own central AC/Heat thermostat
- Driveway/Street Parking
All boarders have access to:
- Kitchen
- Dining Room
- Living Room
- Fireplace
- Large TV w/ Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney+, HBOMax, ESPN, NFL, etc.
- Washer
- Drier
- Outdoor fire pit
- Large back porch
- Charcoal grill
Looking for a renter who is comfortable with:
- Spontaneity and just going with the flow.
- Having guests come over without prior notice.
- Fire: fire pit, fire place, candles; yes, the house will smell like wood smoke
sometimes.
- The possibility of noise (music, movies, guests, cooking, etc.) until 12:00AM, and
again after 8:00AM.
- Paying a little more for utilities during the winter to stay nice and toasty. :)
- Dogs! The basement boarder has a wonderful dog, Loki, who has become our
beloved house dog and who we welcome on the living room furniture. The house
(and Loki) also has 2 dog friends that intermittently come over and/or spend the
night.
